I was born in Bermuda to a long line of doctors – my father is Dr. Eugene Harvey who practiced here for many years as a GP. I attended school and the University of Exeter in the UK after which I worked as a journalist at The Royal Gazette. After a period working in the UK in marketing and public relations, I returned to the Island to work as a senior communications specialist for PartnerRe.

For the past 10 years, I have lived with my husband, Jeremy Deacon, and two children in St. David’s and I’m pleased to be able to run in the constituency in which I live.

I first ran for the OBA in the 2020 General Election in constituency 5 because I believe in the party’s values of integrity, inclusion and fiscal responsibility for social fairness. My aim is to bring energy and fresh thinking to the problems facing our community by campaigning for a safe and healthy environment for residents free from air and noise pollution; preserving the uniqueness of our East End community and keeping St. David’s Primary School open; demanding better public transportation and regular maintenance of our roads and to attract new investment for the benefit of East End communities.
