The OBA representatives of Pembroke West & South Central would love to extend congratulations to the public and private partnership of the KBB and Departments of the Environment and Marine and Ports respectively for their combined efforts to remove abandoned vessels from the Spanish Point Park Area. Residents have been telling us before and since the last Election cycle of these potential dangers to swimmers and the environment. This summer hollow promises gave way to visible action and the community can now enjoy a safe and eye-pleasing experience at this recreational area.
